With their invention of ‘Highlife Fusion’ which combines Highlife, Afrobeat, Jazz, and Soul music, the Cavemen are pioneering the renaissance of highlife music and making it relevant to a contemporary generation that is hungry to connect to their roots. Since 2018, the Lagos-based sibling duo, composed of Kingsley Chukwudi Okorie and Benjamin Chukwudi James, have multiplied their cult following with experimental nostalgic records and electric live performances that have carried on a reputation of their own.

Fueled by a desire to make the kind of music they grew up listening to, the band has taken a journey to bring the sounds of the past into the future, positioning themselves as a bridge between generations. They are the unrivaled torchbearers for modern Highlife music.
