Edgefield Seasonal Jobs

Positions Summary:

Pick up a few extra dollars this summer in the great outdoors working for Monqui Presents at the Edgefield Concerts on the Lawn series.  These seasonal jobs are an essential part of bringing the annual outdoor concert series to life.  Pay for each part-time, seasonal position below starts at $17.50 per hour.  Please email [email protected] if interested in any of the positions below.

Stagehands ~ 

Typical stagehand duties include unloading trucks as well as setting up lighting, audio, and video equipment. These are fast paced positions, requiring frequent lifting of 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, carrying, and being on your feet for extended periods of time. These positions are part time and on call. Must be at least 18 years of age. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible schedule who would like to gain experience in the entertainment industry. This is a part time, split shift, eight to 14 total hours per event, position.

Ushers ~ 

Responsible for creating a better experience for concert patrons. May be stationed just outside the venue, the ADA area, reserved seating area, or strategically spread throughout the venue to convey information to patrons. Ushers are required to walk and stand for extended periods of time.  This is a part time, four to five hour shift, position.


Ticket Takers ~ 

Positioned at the main gate to scan tickets once gates are open. Applicants must be reasonably tech savvy, and customer service oriented. Ticket takers are required to stand for extended periods of time. This is a part time, four to five hour shift, position.


Clean Up Crew ~ 

Keep Edgefield looking its best! Typical duties include the setup, checking, and renewing of waste containers, transporting waste to dumpsters, and cleaning up the venue after the show. This is a part time, four to five hour shift, position.


All Position Requirements ~ 

Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability to work late hours (most call times are 4 PM but can be later or earlier depending on the event)

Flexible schedule

Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to communicate and work well with others in a loud, fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy

A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

Successful passing of a criminal background check

Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.

Positions require extended periods of prolonged standing in one place, climbing stairs and working on your feet
